KCCF ~ 2017 ~ What a Year!

2017 KCCF inagural year:
The King City Community Foundation was formed initially to bring a 4th of July celebration to King City.  Capitalizing on the success of the 1st Annual 4thof July Walk & Roll Parade and Festival, the KCCF organized a Fire Fighter Appreciation Thank You Card drive which culminated in a ceremony at the local TVFR Fire Station to present the cards to our dedicated and fearless public servants.  Wrapping up the year in style, the KCCF Halloween Trunk and Treat was a family fun event celebrated at the Senior Living Center.

Walk & Roll Parade and Festival

The KCCF's cornerstone event, The 4th of July Walk & Roll Parade and Festival brought together civic leaders, businesses and residents for a fun day in the park. The Parade was lead by the lovely Grand Dames, Eva & Pearl riding in style in a red hot convertible, while Mayor Ken Gibson with his wife Ramona followed behind the firetruck and police brigade.

Firecracker Parade

The Firecracker Parade is a long time King City tradition held on July 3rd where residents deck out their golf carts in style.

Classic Car Rally 2017

Kicking off the 4th of July Parade was a gathering of historic motorcars that highlighted the bygone days of distinctive designs, high engineering standards and superior workmanship of the automobile.
